Magento / Mage-OS
Magento / Mage-OS
Magento (now mage-os.org) remains one of the strongest platforms for serious e-commerce: deep catalog and promotions, B2B and B2C, and virtually no hard ceiling on store configuration when you need it.
I deliver Magento 2 / Mage-OS / Adobe Commerce projects with Hyvä storefronts, Cloud ops, custom modules and integrations — with AI-assisted delivery in Cursor under clear engineering discipline so upgrades stay painless.
Design patterns & SOLID
Custom code follows Magento-native structure and classic design patterns: thin orchestrators (commands, cron, observers), services with a single responsibility, preferences and plugins over core hacks, and dependency injection on interfaces.
SOLID is the day-to-day filter — open for extension, closed for careless edits — so modules stay reviewable and Magento / Mage-OS version bumps do not become archaeology.
Testing as acceptance gates
Testing is not a separate “please add tests” afterthought. Pipelines verify that acceptance criteria are met before merge or deploy.
Unit tests cover pure logic; Magento integration tests cover wiring that matters; Playwright E2E covers storefront paths that must keep working. The goal is confidence to upgrade and ship — not ceremony for its own sake.
